Join SACOLA and work alongside local communities at the edge of Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park. Our volunteer program offers a unique opportunity to contribute to conservation, community development, and sustainable livelihoods while gaining hands-on experience in a meaningful, real-world setting.

SACOLA offers a number of volunteer opportunities, for anybody and everybody, looking to offer their services. During your time with SACOLA you will visit our community projects, providing support and invaluable knowledge to the community.

We require expertise and skills across a range of areas, details can be found below. Whether you are supporting community projects, contributing your professional skills, or helping share our story, your work will have a direct and lasting impact. While you bring your skills, you will also gain and insights into local culture you will take away priceless memories and experiences.

We offer both long-term and short-term onsite volunteer experiences and can tailor the experience to your skillset and for the time you are available. There is also the opportunity of remote volunteering for those who cannot be on site.
