Pierre celestin nsengiyumva, chairperson of sacola

SACOLA, is a community owned non-profit, based in Kinigi. Our mission is to conserve our natural environment, strengthen our local community, and preserve our cultural traditions, for the improved livelihood of the local people.

Tours

SACOLA offer tours and visits of the local community, environment, and culture with all proceeds going back to the development of our people. These include activities like cultural dancers, arts & crafts, plus more.

Community Projects

SACOLA funds numerous projects in the local community, all with the purpose to provide access to safe drinking water and housing, protect the environment, improve education, and preserve our culture.

The Sabyinyo Community Livelihood Association was made possible by the ongoing support and help of the Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge. A community owned business where proceeds from guests go directly to SACOLA and our community projects.
